Delizie Bakery at SIAL Paris 2026: five days in Paris

We have just returned from Paris. Yesterday, 21 October, SIAL Paris 2026 came to a close: the international food trade show that fills the halls of Paris Nord Villepinte every two years. Today we want to tell you how it went. From 17 to 21 October our stand in Hall 1, Stand E066 welcomed buyers, distributors and importers from all over the world: five days of meetings, tastings and conversations.

Why SIAL Paris

SIAL is one of the world’s key events for anyone who produces and distributes food. For the 2026 edition the organisers announced up to 8,000 exhibitors and around 295,000 expected professionals, across more than 280,000 m² divided into ten sectors, with a strong majority of international visitors.

Two new features this year were especially close to our work. The first is a hall entirely dedicated to snacking and delicatessen products, a sign of how much the way we eat is changing. The second is SIAL Bakery, a real working bakery set up in Hall 5B, confirming that baked goods are now at the centre of attention for the whole food chain.

In the Italian Pavilion

Our stand was part of the Italian Pavilion organised by ITA – Italian Trade Agency, in the Savoury Food area, alongside many other Italian companies who brought the best of Made in Italy to Paris.

What we brought to Paris

Our motto, A world of good things, stood out on the main wall, and the shelves held our whole sweet and savoury world, with three stars available for tasting:

  • Delizie Bakery biscuits: round meliga biscuits, soft amaretti, baci di dama, coconut and lime, liquorice, cinnamon and caramel.
  • Paste di meliga, the traditional Piedmontese biscuit, in the classic boxes and the hazelnut version.
  • Grissini and savoury baked goods, with the Barbero ranges of breadsticks, bruschette and toasted slices.

Our sweet-and-savoury range was one of the recurring topics at the stand: those who select products for export increasingly look for a single partner able to cover breakfast, the afternoon break and the aperitivo.

Why trade shows matter to us

For a company like ours, international trade shows remain the most direct way to introduce our products to the people who will bring them to shelves in other countries: tasting, talking about formats and logistics, and building long-term relationships. It continues the path we followed at Anuga 2025.

Thank you for visiting us

Thank you to all the visitors, customers and partners who came to the stand, and to ITA for organising the Italian Pavilion. From today we are back at the office, with many new contacts to follow up.

If you met us in Paris, or would like to get to know our products, get in touch: we will be happy to continue the conversation.
