Delizie Bakery: New Facility in Cherasco, A Step Forward for the Region
Cherasco is enriched with a new production entity with the opening of Delizie Bakery’s new facility. The company, a leader in the production of baked goods, has officially opened the doors of its modern plant, marking an important milestone in its growth and reinforcing its commitment to promoting the excellence of Piedmont.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Mayor Claudio Bogetti and President of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio, who emphasized the importance of this investment for the region. The project involved the redevelopment of the former Cherasco kiln, transforming it into a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to high-quality production.
Founded in 2015 through the acquisition of the Barbero brand by the Costamagna Group, Delizie Bakery has continued to expand while staying firmly rooted in tradition, focusing on innovation and craftsmanship. In addition to the historic brands Barbero, Tre Spighe, Biscotti di Pamparato, and Gualino, the company has broadened its product range, aiming to bring the best of Piedmontese pastry and bakery to an ever-growing audience.
The inauguration was also an opportunity to celebrate gastronomic excellence, featuring an exclusive show cooking by Michelin-starred chef Pasquale Laera, who highlighted the authentic flavors of the raw materials used by Delizie Bakery.
This new facility represents not only growth for the company but also an opportunity for the region, creating synergies with other entities in the food industry and contributing to the promotion of Piedmont-made products both nationally and internationally.
