Our certifications are a recognition of our commitment to high standards and continuous improvement in quality and sustainability. We are proud to have obtained certifications such as Kosher, IFS Food, and RSPO, which testify to our commitment to ensuring high-quality products, respectful of different dietary needs and free from palm oil.
Regarding the IFS certification, we would like to emphasize that we operate in a UNANNOUNCED regime. This means that the certification audit takes place without prior notice, ensuring a more rigorous evaluation level and even greater compliance than standard audits. This system allows us to maintain and guarantee high-quality and safety standards, meeting the highest requirements set by the IFS certification.

From the heart of Piedmontese tradition, Delizie Bakery has revitalized historic brands like Barbero. Following its acquisition in 2015, the company embarked on a relaunch process, aiming to preserve the original recipes while integrating modern innovations. Thanks to high-quality ingredients and advanced production techniques, Delizie Bakery has maintained the authenticity of the Barbero brand, while introducing innovative solutions that have attracted consumers.
A particular focus was placed on the Barbero grissini, which were relaunched through new collaborations, creating pairings with chocolate spreads or creamy cheeses in convenient snack-sized packages. This allowed for the expansion of the market, meeting the needs of both B2C and B2B customers and creating new business opportunities both in Italy and abroad. The relaunch of the Barbero brand thus represents a perfect balance between tradition and innovation.
From the heart of Piedmontese tradition, our grissini tell a story of taste and refinement that has its roots in the court of the Savoy. The grissino is a symbol of Turin’s tradition, an essential part of every table. Its name comes from the Piedmontese word “ghërsa,” which refers to the elongated bread. Born in Turin in 1679, it was created by the court baker Antonio Brunero on the suggestion of the royal doctor for young Vittorio Amedeo II, who couldn’t digest the crumb of the bread. Thanks to its lightness and long shelf life, the grissino quickly spread, winning over notable figures such as King Carlo Felice and Napoleon Bonaparte, who arranged for its transport between Turin and Paris.
Over time, variations like the “grissino stirato,” which is flakier than the classic “rubatà,” have emerged. From the court of the Savoy to the entire world, this tradition continues to live on today. Since 1955, the Barbero brand has celebrated its excellence with high-quality grissini, as well as bruschette, savory snacks, and rusks made from a slow-leavened brioche dough, offering an authentic and unmistakable taste.
